Welcome to Choose Travel. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to our website (www.choose.travel) and the booking of any domestic tour packages, hotel reservations, or travel services offered by us. By using our website or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these legal terms.
1. Agreement to Terms & Scope of Services
Choose Travel acts as a travel organizer and facilitator. We assemble tour packages by organizing accommodations, local transportation, houseboats, sightseeing tours, and activities provided by independent third-party contractors and service providers across India.
By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge that our contractual obligation is to coordinate and arrange these services with reasonable care and skill. We are not the direct owners or operators of hotels, vehicles, houseboats, or airlines.
2. Booking & Payment Terms
To confirm your reservation and freeze hotel/transport availability, the following payment schedule applies:
- Booking Confirmation Advance: A minimum of 25% of the total package cost must be paid at the time of booking confirmation.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 75% balance must be settled at least 7 days prior to your trip departure date.
- Last-Minute Bookings: For bookings made within 7 days of the travel date, 100% full payment is required upfront.
- Peak Season Bookings: During high-demand periods (Christmas, New Year, Diwali), hotels may require 50% to 100% advance payment. Our team will notify you if special terms apply.
3. Price Policy & Inclusions/Exclusions
All package quotes are generated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are valid for 7 days from the date of quotation.
- Inclusions: Package prices cover only those items explicitly listed under the "Inclusions" section of your final confirmed itinerary.
- Exclusions: Unless explicitly included, prices do not cover airfare, train tickets, personal travel insurance, monument entry fees, camera fees, boating/safari tickets, meals other than breakfast, personal laundry, or tips.
4. Itinerary Changes & Flexibility
We make every effort to adhere strictly to your confirmed itinerary. However, travel across dynamic regions involves uncontrollable variables such as weather disturbances, roadblocks, landslides, political strikes, or sudden VIP movements.
In such events, Choose Travel reserves the right to modify the sightseeing route, substitute hotels with equivalent category accommodations, or rearrange daily schedules to ensure traveler safety. Any additional costs arising from such unexpected logistical adjustments shall be borne by the traveler.
5. Limitation of Liability
Choose Travel shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, physical trauma, loss of personal baggage, delay, or financial expense resulting from:
- Accidents, mechanical breakdowns, or traffic delays during road transfers.
- Acts of God, natural disasters, floods, cyclones, or severe weather conditions.
- Strikes, civil unrest, government restrictions, or airline/railway cancellations.
- Any default of third-party hotel staff, adventure activity operators, or local vendors.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any dispute arising from your booking or website use shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes or claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts situated in Bangalore, Karnataka.
